This is nothing but a list of atrocities masquerading as entertainment.
It's purile filth and it shouldn't be allowed.
Anyone who enjoys this kind of stuff must be sick in the head, and I am amzed that anyone who thinks this kind of stuff up is allowed to mingle in civilized, polite society.

It's fiction. It's also satire, comedy. It's no more violent or obscene than half the stuff in most horror movies, and it's considerably better plotted and written (as you would know, if you had read the whole series). It's grotesque burlesque, swamp fiction... not intended to be taken literally.
I disagree entirely with your opinions, but I will defend to the death your right to express them.
